The number of active COVID-19 cases increased by 658 today. Among the Positive cases, 21 are from Tobago.
Nineteen fatalities were also reported. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related fatalities to 2,177. According to the Ministry, among the dead are four elderly males, seven elderly females, and eight middle aged males. Fourteen persons had known co-morbidities such as Diabetes and Hypertension, and five persons had no known co-morbidities.
