Minority leader of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Kelvon Morris has apologised for his behaviour on Monday during a special sitting of the Assembly held to appoint a deputy chief secretary.
During the sitting, the area representative for Darrel Spring/Whim nominated Watson Duke as an alternative choice for the house to vote.
In a statement posted to his Facebook, Mr Morris said he made a grave error in judgement where he attempted to stroke further discord by nominating Watson Duke.
Morris added it was one that he deeply regrets and wishes he could undo, however it’s a lesson that he would never forget, and one he would never repeat going forward.
