Homicide detectives are probing the deaths of two elderly brothers whose bodies were found in their home in Petit Bourg on Tuesday morning.
Police said 87-year-old Mervyn Lee Soy and his brother 78 year old Michael, were found in their apartment on the top floor of the Trinidad Ornamental store on the Eastern Main Road.
According to reports, at about 8 a.m. police responded to a call that a worker at the hardware store had entered the premises and noticed the place ransacked.
The employee later found the bodies of the brothers, they were both bound and gagged.
Police believe the men were killed during a home invasion.
The men are the uncles of the owner of the hardware.
