This country’s COVID-19 death toll is now at 2,236, with 21 fatalities recorded in the past 24 hours.
According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, among the fatalities are nine men and 12 women.
Multiple people had comorbidities while four had no known comorbidity.
There are also 774 new cases of the virus, taking active cases to 12,095.
The Ministry said 94 people have been discharged from public health facilities while 529 remain at hospital and are being treated for the virus.
