COVID-19 has claimed 25 more lives here in Trinidad and Tobago.
According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, among the fatalities over the past 24 hours are 16 men and nine women, taking the death toll for the virus to 2,454. Nineteen of the deceased had multiple comorbidities, four had only one condition, while two people had no known comorbidities.
The Ministry of Health also reported there are now 786 new Positive cases of COVID-19. Active cases now stand at 14,425. The Ministry said 96 people have been discharged from public health facilities while 513 remain at hospital and are being treated for the virus.
