The Tobago House of Assembly has approved $3 million for the 2023 Tobago Jazz Experience, which will kick off on Thursday.
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, who spoke to the media during Wednesday’s Post Executive Media Briefing, shared a different approach has been adopted.
Mr. Augustine said ticket sales are at 60% based on his most recent check last week. He informed, however, that moving forward a different model will also be used in the hosting of the Tobago Jazz Experience.
The Jazz Experience will begin with the first ever Gospel Jazz event, followed by a free show at the Buccoo Integrated Facility. Then on Saturday it will be a reggae vibe at Speyside and the event will culminate on Sunday for the International Night at Parade Grounds in Bacolet.
