4th Confirmed Case Of Monkey Pox In T&T

There is a fourth confirmed case of Monkey Pox or MPox in Trinidad and Tobago.

The patient is said to be a young adult male.

The Ministry of Health says the relevant County Medical Officer of Health is currently conducting an epidemiological investigation and has initiated the local public health response, which includes home isolation and contact tracing for the patient.

The first confirmed case of Mpox was reported on July 12th – a middle-aged man with a related travel history.

The other two cases were young adult men.
