For a second day in succession, new Positive COVID-19 infections have crossed 500 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health, in its clinical update on Thursday, reported 509 new Positive cases. Those results were from samples taken between November 7th and November 10th. There are 6,299 total active Positive cases.
Meanwhile, 12 additional persons have died as a result of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Their deaths take the COVID-related death toll to 1,818.
The Ministry of Health is also advising of 43 new cases of the Delta Variant of Concern in Trinidad and Tobago. This brings the total number of confirmed cases of the Delta Variant of Concern to 199.
