There is consensus from two stalwarts of the business community that the sector has driven the growth of the economy over the past 60 years, but they believe there are still issues plaguing advancement.
The manufacturing sector in particular continues to contribute 19% of GDP on an annual basis and is the second largest employer, just one up to the Government.
