COVID-19 has claimed 30 more lives here in Trinidad and Tobago.
This, according to the latest update from the Ministry of Health. Among the fatalities over the past 24 hours are 15 men and 15 women, taking this country’s total COVID-19 death toll to 2,768. The co-morbidities present among the recently deceased are hypertension, diabetes, down syndrome, and epilepsy.
There are also 465 new Positive cases of the virus. Active cases now stand at 16,841.
Sixty one people have been discharged from public health facilities, while 473 people remain at hospital and are being treated for the virus.
