A 74-year-old man was crushed to death when a music truck rolled over him on Carnival Monday in San Fernando.
The incident happened at approximately 4pm while Selwyn Little was playing with the sailor mas band Jammerz International.
Eyewitnesses said it seemed the driver lost control of the truck.
Mr. Little, also known as Shortman, was from Mon Repos and played with the Pal Joey Lewis band.
The accident caused a delay in the parade as the District Medical Officer and the police forensics team carried out their work.
The truck driver is assisting police with their investigation.
