The 117th Trinidad and Tobago Golf Open got underway on Friday at the Plantations Golf Course, Magdalena Beach and Golf Resort in Lowlands, Tobago, with Ladies, Super-Seniors, Masters, and Third Flight players taking to the course.
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley was on hand to mark the occasion, officially launching the prestigious tournament with the ceremonial first tee-off.
This year’s competition is being played in two legs, with select divisions competing in Tobago, while the professional and top amateur golfers will take center stage next week at the St. Andrews Golf Club in Moka, Maraval.
