The South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) has announced the births of two New Year’s Day babies in the South West Region.
The first baby, a male weighing 6.48lbs, was born at 12:59am on January 1st 2022 to mother Amanda Khan.
The second baby, a female weighing 6.35lbs, was born to mother Ashley Mahadeo at 4:27am.
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dr. Michael Prasad, and Nurse Manager at the San Fernando General Hospital, Mrs. Bettyann Murray-John, presented both mothers with gift baskets.
