Nineteen additional COVID-19 deaths have been recorded over the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health lists the persons as 11 elderly males, four elderly females, three middle aged females, and one young adult male. Six of the persons had no known medical conditions. Their deaths take the COVID-19 death toll to 3,066.
The Health Ministry is also reporting 397 new Positive cases of the virus. Those results were from samples taken between January 3rd and January 8th. The total number of active Positive cases is 16,125.
At present, 445 patients are being treated at hospital for the virus.
