There may be some elements of Carnival for 2022, but the celebrations will be smaller.
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley said Government must take into account the health protocols that are in place and it will be a matter for the Carnival fraternity and the Ministries involved.
He said Carnival would not be like regular celebrations.
Dr. Rowley said the regular form of celebrations would create an ideal situation for the virus to spread.
