On the ICC U19 World Cup’s final day of play in Trinidad and Tobago Minister of Sport and Community Development Shamfa Cudjoe joined members of the local organising committee for the Plate final at the Queen’s Park Oval.
T&T hosted 20 matches, 10 in the group stage and the entirety of the plate.
Minister Cudjoe received her very own maroon shirt at a small presentation during the match and enjoyed the final alongside THA chief Secretary Farley Augustine and the THAs assistant secretary of Community, Youth Development and Sport.
CWI’s CEO Johnny Grave, VP Dr. Kishore Shallow, Tournament Director Fawwaz Baksh, and Director Debra Coryat-Patton as well as Cricket Board President Azim Bassarath and Sport Company CEO Jason Williams were also in attendance.
