Homicides and violence have been increasing worldwide since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This from Criminologist Renee Cummings, who says this phenomena is happening locally and it impacts the economy.
Ms. Cummings notes, it is impossible to assess whether this country’s crime initiatives are working, in the absence of sufficient data.
Speaking on the NOW Morning Show, the criminologist insists at least three years of data is needed to assess any initiative.
