MP for Toco/Sangre Grande Roger Monroe urged constituents who received Self Help Grants on Monday to use them for their intended purpose.
Twenty families in the constituency received $400,000 in funding from the National Commission for Self Help Limited to do structural repair work to their homes after being impacted by adverse weather conditions.
Chairman of the National Commission for Self Help Limited, Anthony Campbell, said the Commission is always elated to have a positive influence on the future of families in Trinidad and Tobago.
