Trinidad and Tobago’s Senior Men’s Team has slipped out of the Top 100 in the latest FIFA World Rankings released today.
T&T re-entered the Top 100 in November 2021 but are now at 101, according to the sport’s world governing body.
Ahead of their CONCACAF W Championship campaign, T&T’s Women are currently ranked 73rd in the world – down three places from their position in August 2021.
The Senior National Men’s Team was last in action on January 21st against Bolivia at altitude in Sucre – that match ended in a 5-0 defeat.
Before that, T&T played on July 18th 2021 against Guatemala in the Group Stage of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Both teams have been relatively dormant due to pandemic restrictions and the unavailability of international playing opportunities.
