The first steps have been taken to provide this country with a Carnival Museum, according to the T&T Carnival Museum member, Rosalind Gabriel.
Ms. Gabriel says the building for the museum is located in East Port of Spain, and has been donated by the First Citizens Bank Foundation.
Ms. Gabriel adds that TUCO, the mas fraternity, and Pan Trinbago have all agreed to collaborate on the project, which should see an opening date in late 2023.
