Three persons are dead following a home invasion in Westmoorings this morning.
TTT News understands that sometime after 8:30am, two intruders attempted to break into a house located at Cherry Crescent. Upon entry, a woman was shot and killed by one of the assailants. The woman’s relative, who possesses a licensed firearm, confronted the intruders and a shootout ensued which resulted in the two intruders being killed.
The woman was taken to the St. James Medical Complex but succumbed to her injuries.
