As parishioners received their ashes today, Archbishop of Port of Spain, Charles Jason Gordon, encouraged them to take the Lenten season seriously. He said there is a need to keep Lent sacred this year as there are many situations that require the help of God, like the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Archbishop Gordon is urging all to fast for Ukraine.
