Day 2 Of 2nd Apex Test

The Barmy Army were singing loudly in the stands of the Kensington Oval in Barbados as England took full charge of the second day of the second Apex Test match against the West Indies.

Beginning the day on 244 for 3, the visitors extended their first innings tally to 482 for 6 at the tea interval.

Ben Stokes scored a quick 128 ball century to add further pressure on the Windies bowlers.

They all toiled on a batting paradise with a total of 7 bowlers used, with Veerasammy Permaul taking three wickets for 126 runs.

The visitors declared just after the tea interval on 507 for 9.

At the close of play on day two, the West Indies are 71 for one , with Shamarh Brooks not out on 31 and Kraig Brathwaite not out on 28..
