Engaging Standard Five students in activities that promote social and emotional learning helps them transition to the Secondary School level, according to Tobago-based Educator Dr. Verleen Bobb-Lewis.
On the heels of the recently-concluded SEA exam, Dr. Lewis said things like sporting activities help them to prepare for group work for projects and promotes teamwork. She said field trips to the various Secondary Schools will also help the SEA students to see what they can expect when they enter their new schools in September.
