Trinidad and Tobago’s track and field stars Jereem Richards and Machel Cedenio were in action today in the USATF Bermuda Games.
Richards, fresh off his World Indoor 400 Metre Gold Medal performance, competed in the Men’s 200 in what was the dubbed the battle of the Caribbean kings in a race that also featured reigning Olympic 400 Metre champion, Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas. Gardiner that would come out on top in this one in 20.79 seconds with Richards the runner up in 20.86 seconds and Emmanuel Matadi of Liberia third in 21.04.
In the Men’s 400, Cedenio was 5th overall in 46.70 seconds with Kirani James of Grenada the winner in 45.63 seconds.
