Point Fortin Mayor Saleema McCree-Thomas officially launched the 2022 Borough Day celebrations on Friday.
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the month-long festivities began on April 17th with a week of sporting activities. Friday’s launch was of the musical portion of the activities which will feature, among other things, a traditional masquerade through the Borough on Saturday May 7th from 4pm to midnight.
There will also be a military parade on April 29th, a Gospel concert on May 4th, and the Mayor’s Charity All-Inclusive event on May 8th.
