Conrad Enill Appointed High Commissioner To Guyana

Former Minister of Energy Conrad Enill has been appointed High Commissioner to Guyana.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Mr. Enill was presented with his instruments of appointment by Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dr. Amery Browne, during a brief presentation ceremony.

Senator Browne indicated that His Excellency would be guided by the Government’s policy framework, which underscores that the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs and its diplomatic network of Overseas Missions must be the front line of projecting the interests of Trinidad and Tobago internationally.

Mr. Enill has considerable experience in the areas of energy, finance, and business, having served as Minister of Energy and Energy Industries between 2007 to 2010 and Minister in the Ministry of Finance between 2001 to 2006.

He is also the current Chairman of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago.
