Regional Four Day Championship – Day 4 Recap

Matches continued today in the CWI Regional Four Day Championship.

At Diego Martin, the Leeward Islands Hurricanes continued their dominance over the T&T Red Force. Armed with an overall lead off 459, the visitors had the home team on the back foot at the start of their second innings. At one point they were struggling at 53 for four, but had a recovery to finish the day on 143 for 6 trail by a further 316 runs.

At the Queens Park Oval, the Guyana Harpy Eagles took the advantage against the Barbados Pride. Guyana posted a massive first innings total of 490 for 7, Tagenarine Chanderpaul top scoring with 140 not out. Barbados fell a few runs short to prevent the follow on, bowled out for 266. Shai Hope stroking a patient 119 to lead the way. At the close of play, Barbados Pride batting a second time are 44 without loss.
