No Shortage Of Sanitary Products In T&T

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Amery Browne has denied reports that there is any shortage of sanitation products locally.

The Minister was responding to a question from Opposition Senator Wade Mark who asked about shortages of sanitary products in the United States. A BBC report on Monday evening stated that manufacturers in the US have pledged to make more sanitary products to address shortages in the country.

However, Mr. Browne said the Ministry of Trade and Industry is monitoring developments, but has not been informed of any such shortage affecting Trinidad and Tobago.
