There is no policy in place when it comes to on-site salvaging at landfills in Trinidad and Tobago but this may soon change as the Board of the Solid Waste Management Company Limited (SWMCOL) is in the process of executing several measures salvagers must abide by, according to CEO Kevin Thompson.
He was speaking at a Joint Select Committee meeting on Land and Physical Infrastructure on Thursday.
