CARICOM Nations Discuss Food Security, Climate Change

The 43rd Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is ongoing in Suriname.

During Sunday’s Opening Ceremony, Caricom Secretary General Dr. Carla Barnette said Caricom nations continue to battle the worldwide problem of food security.

Dr. Barnett added that while food security is important to the region, so too is the issue of climate change.
