Fifty four of the 88 amendments to the Miscellaneous Provisions (Local Government Reform) Bill, 2020 are capable of almost immediate proclamation.
This is according to Minister of Rural Development and Local Government Faris Al Rawi, who said on Tuesday that a proclamation timetable has been established, and will be presented to Cabinet.
