$132 Million San Fernando Parkade Opens

San Fernando West MP, Faris Al-Rawi, has dubbed the opening of the San Fernando Parkade to be the anchor for the San Fernando Waterfront Project.

The nine-storey, 1,000-plus car park facility was officially opened on Tuesday at a cost of $132 million, and provides a direct pathway to the San Fernando General Hospital.

MP Al-Rawi said the city has not seen development for decades, noting that this carpark facility not only provides adequate parking for staff of the hospital, but signals the continuation of the San Fernando Waterfront Project.

And UDECOTT’s CEO, Tamica Charles, assured that the Parkade project, which commenced on July 13th 2020, is a state of the art facility.
