A second group of former Petrotrin employees was selected during a live draw for residential lots awarded by the Land Settlement Agency (LSA) on Tuesday.
The 21 people were awarded the residential lots as the initiative continues to allocate land to those who meet the eligibility criteria for the programme. The recipients are former employees who were terminated as a result of the closure of the Petrotrin Refinery in 2018.
Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Camille Robinson-Regis, said Tuesday’s draw of recipients for land is a display of Government’s commitment to keeping its promise to the former employees of the Petrotrin refinery.
