A helping hand has been offered to students of Point Fortin and environs and it came in the form of school books and supplies to ensure they continue their education.
On Thursday Member of Parliament for Point Fortin Kennedy Richards Junior hosted his second book distribution ceremony. but he said the books are not a donation, this round they will be considered loans.
The parents of the recipients were very grateful for the initiative.
Principals from all schools within the constituency were invited to submit names of their most vulnerable students. 200 students benefited from the exercise.
