The Trinbago Knight Riders Women advanced to the Final of the Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League, following a ‘no-result’ in their match versus Guyana Amazon Warriors at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
The match was called off two overs into the Amazon Warriors’ pursuit of the 105 posted by TKR who lost 5 wickets during that compilation with 21 coming from skipper Deandra Dottin and 20 from Natasha Mc Clean at the top of the order but the leading scorer was Hayley Jensen with 25 not out off 25 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.
Cherry-Ann Fraser took 3 for 21 in her four overs of medium pace for the Guyana squad who could only reach 13 without loss as the rain put an end to the day’s proceedings.
TKR will await the winners of Saturday’s match between the Amazon Warriors and Barbados Royal which will decide their opponents for Sunday’s Final in the inaugural WCPL.
