Cyclist Nicholas Paul Out Worlds Due To Injuries

Trinidad and Tobago sprint cycling sensation Nicholas Paul will miss the rest of the 2022 cycling season, including this month’s World Track championships in France.

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation, Paul was withdrawn from competition on the advice of his doctors after he sustained injuries in a training accident.

Paul, the Men’s Sprint record holder, has been advised to stay off the saddle to better aid his recovery and will not travel with the rest of the T&T contingent – sprinter Kwesi Browne and endurance rider Akil Campbell at Worlds.

The 2022 UCI Track Cycling World Championships will be held in France from October 12th to 16th.
