In football, there was “not so disappointing” news coming out of Mexico as the University of Trinidad and Tobago lost their second match of the FISU Americas Football World Cup Qualifiers in Merida.
UTT went up against UADY University of Mexico and lost 2-1 but won their Group by virtue of having a superior goal tally.
Once again, Romario Williams was the scorer for the Clayton Morris-coached team and they now advance to Saturday’s Semi Finals where they meet UNIP/SP University of Brazil at 6pm.
