The second blackout day for the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers’ Association (TTUTA) is being conducted.
On Monday, Secondary Schools reopened for face to face classes for Forms 4, 5 and 6 and TTUTA President, Antonia Tekah-De Freitas, says it was a challenge for teachers as quite a few vaccinated students did not turn up for school.
Outside of these problems, the TTUTA President says other concerns ticked up even with some violence taking place on a school compound.
Mrs. Tekah-De Freitas says TTUTA is not against vaccination but it is causing a problem in the system.
