Former West Indies white ball captain Kieron Pollard has been released by Indian Premier League outfit Mumbai Indians. This, as Mumbai has rolled out its retention and released players lists ahead of the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
The all-rounder was the longest-serving player for MI and represented them in 13 seasons since 2010. He played a huge part in their 5 title wins, scoring 3412 runs at a strike-rate of almost 150.
MI have released five players in total. Meanwhile, Australian Tim David finds himself on the list of 10 players retained. Among the other players retained by MI are Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Jofra Archer, Jasprit Bumrah, and Tristan Stubbs.
