The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service in collaboration with the Penal Reform and Transformation Unit continued with Restorative Justice Week celebrations aimed at promoting initiatives geared toward reformation and successful reintegration.
Contrary to popular belief, Acting Commissioner of Prisons, Deopersad Ramoutar, said restorative justice is not a soft approach.
Mr. Ramoutar said the approaches taken this year will be different than previous years.
