CIC Wins Big Five

St Mary’s College won the Secondary School’s Football League Big Five with a goalless draw against contenders Arima North.

Before Sunday’s final match against Arima North Secondary CIC the top two had already confirmed their Premier Division status next season

Both teams started on nine points, though CIC had the better goal-difference and needed just a draw to take the title.

East Champions Arima, the North’s CIC and Bishop’s High of Tobago are next year’s new top-flight campaigners.

Moruga Secondary and Carapichaima East have already been demoted.

St Augustine Secondary and East Mucurapo will play for their own survival in the Premier Division demotion play-off tomorrow.
