The Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) believes the solution to the synchronous education issue is to hire unemployed university graduates as assistant teachers.
This was one of several issues highlighted by MSJ Political Leader David Abdulah during a virtual press conference on Sunday.
The MSJ Leader noted that his party’s May 2020 Roadmap to Recovery plan, outlined how this system would work. Mr. Abdulah noted the plan was rejected, and as a result, some children continue to be excluded from accessing a proper education.
In the Parliament on Friday, it was revealed that vaccinated Forms 1 – 3 students are expected to be joining their Forms 4 – 6 counterparts in face-to-face classes in the next few weeks.
