A Pentecostal Preacher has died at hospital after being struck by a car on Friday night.
Reverend Doctor Joel Bhagoutie of the Diamond Evangelistic Church died at around 3am on Saturday.
Dr. Bhagoutie was the son of the founder of the Trinidad and Tobago Pentecostal Assembly.
According to police reports, the 57 year old, of Diamond Village, San Fernando, was walking up the hill at A&A Barbecue car park in Debe at around 8pm when a vehicle collided with him. The car was driven by an 18 year old of Claxton Bay.
Dr. Bhagoutie was taken to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
