In the latest incident, two men died after being shot in Maloney on Sunday night.
Police officers responded to a report of explosions at Building 6 and arrived to find the bodies of 27 year old Christopher Williams and a man only identified as Ezekiel.
Earlier on Sunday, three killings were reported in Penal, San Fernando, and Caroni.
In one incident, 47 year old Nasir Saqui, the owner of the Auto Care Centre in Penal, was found murdered in his bed at his home at Fazal Avenue, Penal.
Separately, the body of an unidentified man with chop wounds to the head was found near the Vishnu Boys’ College in Caroni.
In the third incident, Ronnie Lambkin of San Pedro Road in Valencia was killed by a lone gunman in Kelly Village when he stopped to purchase food near La Solita Road.
