The THA Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection in collaboration with the Tobago Regional Health Authority celebrated International Women’s Day with a series of events including a Health Expo held at the Milford Road Esplanade.
At Wednesday’s Opening Ceremony, TRHA Board Director Karen Moore-Nicholson encouraged female Health practitioners to embrace themselves and urged them to consider the theme of this year’s Women’s Day Observance.
The Division’s Assistant Secretary Sonny Craig noted women possess much greatness.
He made reference to Strong women representation across the world and in The Tobago House of Assembly.
Presentations on several topics including nutrition, natural hair care, mental health, breast care, cervical cancer in women, and HIV were made during Wednesday’s celebrations.
