At the San Fernando Teaching Hospital, the South West Regional Health Authority hosted over 200 women during day 1 of the National Screening weekend.
SWRHA Chief Executive Officer Dr Brian Armour encouraged more women to take advantage of the weekend’s activities. He also noted additionally, throughout the week, select Health Centres under the SWRHA purview offered health screening to women in communities.
HIV testing, general health screening and information were offered to participants.
The National Screening weekend continues for the final day on Sunday.
