Round 5 of the Cricket West Indies Regional Four Day Championship continued today with the T&T Red Force clashing with the Jamaica Scorpions at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.
The Red Force batted first and were once more in a spot of bother, reeling at 41 for 4. But Joshua Da Silva and Tion Webster pulled off a 71-run partnership that rebuilt the innings. All rounder Terrence Hinds batted superbly getting to 94 before being dismissed. Anderson Phillip also played a stellar innings finishing not out on 63 as the Red Force closed their innings on 302 all out.
Two overs were set to be bowled before stumps on Day 1 and the home side managed to take a Jamaica Scorpions wicket to close the day on 5 for 1.
