28 TTPS Officers Promoted

28 newly-promoted officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police were reminded by Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood-Christopher, that they now play a major leadership role. She urged them to work on transforming the culture of the Trinidad and Tobago Police to one of service and excellence.

The Top Cop advised the five promoted officers that “To whom much is given, much is expected.”

The five moved from the rank of Sergeant to Inspector while the other 23 officers rose to the rank of Sergeant from Corporal at the Police Administration Building On Monday.

As Commissioner Harewood-Christopher congratulated them, she asked that they “think about what the TTPS requires” of them in their new roles to achieve the promise, she made on behalf of the TTPS, to reduce the crime rate by June.
