G14 League Begins

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association’s G14 league kicked off this weekend at the UWI Spec Field in St Augustine as the TTFA continues its focus on women’s football development.

Twelve teams all with women head coaches will compete in three groups over the next 10 weeks with the semis scheduled for June 28th

The league, part of the Fifa Women’s Football Development Programme will be played at SPEC in Trinidad and tomorrow in Tobago and provides additional competition to developing players.

Eastern County United, Diego Martin Central United, Crowne Trace and Real Dimension WFC square off in the East West Central group.

South’s group includes Gasparillo Youths FC, Pt. Fortin Pioneers, Cox Coaching Academy, and South Stars Princesses.

Tobago’s competitive quartet gets started tomorrow at Jubilee Park in Scarborough. At 2:30 Jewels Sports Club plays RSS Phoenix, then at 4, Tobago Chicas play Combined Ballerz.
